While driving north on 156, this rainbow appeared out of nowhere. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. This is half the image, as the rainbow stretched the entirety of Tiffany Farm.

I named our property “Storm King”, named after this 100 plus year old White Oak, that had weathered many a storm as well as the high elevation that gives us dramatic views of the sky and every approaching storm. Walking to my studio, the sun just came out for minutes and there he was this powerful, regal tree, glazed in sparkling royal diamonds.

Looking out my back window after a night of dark, wintry conditions and to wake to see the natural beauty of the land looking like someone had left a frosted cake was an astonishing sight- especially after just returning from a tropical vacation the day before. As nice as sandy beaches and palm trees were, it didn’t make me breathe like this did.
