Imagining Lyme encourages people to expand their visual awareness of nature and highlight the beauty of our preserves by taking photographs prompted by inspiration from award winning photographer, Joe Standart and other artists.
In the Tips from Joe section, find guidance from Joe Standart and guest artists to help you improve your own photography while you think about new ways to see. Each tip will be short, simple and non-technical, suitable for any kind of camera or smart phone.
Submit your photos year round. Each season in 2023, three photos of distinction are chosen based upon the criteria of emotional impact and creative design. At the end of the year, the Annual People’s Vision Award allows everyone to vote for their favorite.
All submitted photos will be displayed in our showcase galleries and may be featured in Lyme Land Trust publications, webpage and other promotional materials.
